Part I : Creating the ISOs
1)Mounting the ISO Image files in the Linux Mint image files
A first step is to mount the ISO image file in a Linux Mint virtual machine. The ISO image file you downloaded in step 2.1 of this guide and step 2.2.1 of this guide.
First, open the terminal and type the following:
sudo mkdir /media/iso
sudo mount -o loop /home/roekariri/Desktop/Tomb Raider Legend-2.3-Gb-Skkorpus-Forged-of-Blood.iso /media/iso
2)Extracting the ISO Image file from the mounted.ISO file
The next step is to extract the ISO image file from the mounted.ISO file. The purpose of this is to merge the ISO image file in the Linux Mint image file to be able to boot from the ISO image file. You can do this using Linux Mint or using other Linux distribution distribution as long as the distributions allows the type of ISO image files as read by the hardware.
To extract the.ISO image file of the mounted.ISO file, you have to open the terminal again and type:
sudo dd if=/home/roekariri/Desktop/Tomb Raider Legend-2.3-Gb-Skkorpus-Forged-of-Blood.iso of=/dev/sdb
where /dev/sdb is the partition that the ISO image file was mounted as.
Note: The /dev/sdb is the partition name of the root partition.
If there is an error about the location of the ISO image file on the hard disk, open the terminal again and type:
sudo dd if=/home/roekariri/Desktop/Tomb Raider Legend-2.3-Gb-Skkorpus-Forged-of-Blood.iso of=/dev/sda
where /dev/sda is the partition name of the external drive.
